About Me

For most of the year, I am a middle school teacher who has to follow a dress code and a strict budget. (Nobody gets into teaching for the money.) That means that I can't wear short skirts or low tops: I'm a role model after all!

I live in a small town with very limited shopping, and love to thrift and create new and interesting outfits that nobody will see in a shop window. I love vintage clothes, new trends, and everything in between.

I am on a strict budget of $10 a week for new clothes. Shopping primarily at the Goodwill, I don't very often shop at department or specialty stores. Even Target is a stretch for me.

I also love to travel around my adopted state of Colorado (don't tell them I'm really from California) with my husband of three years and our little furry kids - Syd and Nuts. You may notice that I love to post outfit pictures in new places, and try to do so as often as possible. I hope you enjoy my blog and the amazing photos that my husband takes!
